Welcome to Cascina Valgranocchio

 Bed and Breakfast

In the heart of Piemonte,

Northern Italy.

Cascina Valgranocchio is a 200 year old restored farm house in Piemonte, in the Northwest of Italy.

Cascina means small farm, and Valgranocchio means valley of the song of frogs.

We have 3 guest rooms, with bathrooms.

There is a large inground swimming pool.

The house has been fully restored, and has all modern facilities, but kept in the original Italian style. There is a small vineyard of 300 vines of Barbera d’Asti grapes.

The farm is surrounded by forest, and has walking and riding trails.

We are 12 K from Asti, about a 100 K from Milano, and 50 K from Torino, and 100 K from Genova, all with international airports.

The Cascina is within easy day trips to the Cinque Terre, Lago (Lake) Maggiore, Lago d’Orta, the Italian Riveria, Portofino, San Remo, Lago Como, and the famous wine area's of Barolo, Barbaresco, etc.

In 2006, Torino hosted the Winter Olympics.

We are less than hour away from where many of the events were held, and within easy reach of the ski fields.

We also organise wine tasting tours, and tours of the local villages.

Want a long term stay?
We have just completed renovating a 3 story house in the "centro storico" or historical centre of Refrancore, 1 K from the B&B.
